Angie Ruth Summers

Angie Ruth Summers, 44, of Orrville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 at University Hospital in Cleveland after a 20 year battle with failing health.

Angie was born in Medina on Feb. 18, 1979 to Richard and Nora (Crawford) Summers and graduated from Cloverleaf High School.  She had worked as an LPN at Wooster Hospital until becoming ill.  She loved owls, crossword puzzles and cooking.  She enjoyed watching cooking shows as well as the Golden Girls and mysteries, crime and medical programs on TV.  Angie also loved to sing even though she couldn’t carry a tune.

Surviving are her three children, Priscilla Summers of Rittman, Nicholas Susic of Tunkhannock, PA and Sierra Susic of Orrville; two grandchildren, Dayne Summers and Mallory Richardson; her mother, Nora Wolford of Orrville and brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Faye Summers of Wellington and Richard “Waldo” and Stephanie Summers of Creston and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard in 2020.

Friends may call on Friday, Dec. 8th from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.
