Andrew Thomas Seman

Andrew Thomas Seman, 24, of Ashland, went peacefully home, while surrounded by the love of his family and friends, on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Akron Children’s Hospital.  Andy was special beyond the needs that Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease imposed on him. Andy was born in Mansfield on Feb. 25, 1998 and was the cherished son of Douglas A. and Jennifer L. (Carter) Seman.  He was a 2020 graduate of Hillsdale High School and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.  Andy loved having fun and being silly. He always lit up a room with his beautiful, expressive eyes and heartwarming smile.  He loved animals and babies. He will be remembered for his love and joy. Andy will be forever missed by his parents, Doug and Jennifer; his devoted big brother and sister-in-law, John Seman and Hunter Weidner of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; his grandparents, Louie Jr. and Dee (Watkins) Carter of Wooster; aunt and uncle Amy (Carter)  and Kevin Brown and special cousins, Rowan and Sofia of Lakewood; aunt and uncle Anthony and Jodi (Poperl) Seman of Tomahawk, WI; longtime nurses and friends, Kathy Crossen and Jonathan Howard and many loving friends and family members that loved Andy. He was preceded in death by grandparents Ignatius and Caroline (Kosik) Seman and infant cousins, Mira and Sadie Brown. Services will be Saturday, April 2nd at 12:00 noon at Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster, OH with Rev.
