Amanda E. Troyer

Amanda E. “Aunt Mandy” Troyer, 89 years of Fredericksburg, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026.

Mandy was born on Feb. 24, 1937 near Holmesville to Emanuel S. and Mattie (Miller) Troyer. She had worked as a housekeep and had also provided Amish transportation. She was a member of Community Christian Fellowship in Fryburg.

She is survived by 5 nieces and a nephew, Amanda and Ben Troyer, Mahlon and Joanna Troyer, Miriam and the late Robert Burkholder, Viola and Lonnie Weaver, Anna Troyer and Rhoda Troyer, many great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jacob E. and this wife Martha Troyer, a sister Katie and her husband Sol Byler; five infant brothers and sisters and a niece and her husband, Sara and Levi Miller Jr.

Services will be Wednesday, Aug. 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the Joseph Miller residence, 7750 Weaver Rd., Fredericksburg with Pastor Melvin Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Troyer Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Wayne County. Friends may call on Tuesday after 1:00 p.m. at the Joseph Miller residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
