Alvin S. Miller

Alvin S. Miller, 60, of Worthington, IN, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at Indiana University Hospital in Bloomington following a brief illness. Alvin was born March 31, 1956 in Wooster to Sanford E. & Susan (Burkholder) Miller. He had been a truck driver and enjoyed spending his time fishing. He is survived by his mother, Susan Miller of Fredericksburg; a step-son, Brian Smith, a step-daughter, Carol Couch, granddaughters, Hanna Potter and Alexis Kent; brothers, Andy Miller of Millersburg, and Dan (Connie) Miller of Fredericksburg, a sister, Ada Miller of Fredericksburg; his former wife, Beth Miller and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Sanford Miller and a sister-in-law, Ruth Miller. Graveside Services will be held, Thursday at 10 am at the Troyer Cemetery, Fredericksburg with the Rev. Brian White, officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, from 1-8 pm at the Vernon Miller Residence, 6900 S. Apple Creek Rd, Fredericksburg.
