Alberta Theresa Joseph

Alberta Theresa Joseph, 79, of Wadsworth, died peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at the Medina Hospital with her family at her side.

Born on March 14, 1942 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Mackiewicz) Fekete.  Alberta retired from Verizon/GTE and in retirement had worked at Big Lots in Wadsworth which she loved.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, reading and old movies and she loved spoiling her grandkids.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Richard Spitzer of Creston; grandchildren, Cole and Selah and her beloved best friend, Gloria Samad of Brunswick.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Carroll and has been reunited with her lifelong childhood friend, Anna Santiago.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28th at 6:00 p.m. at Medina Community Church, 416 S. Broadway St., Medina, OH 44256 with Pastor Doug Davidson officiating.  Friends and family will be received following the services at the church.   Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com   Memorial contributions may be made to the Church for youth programs in Alberta’s memory.
