Tommy Lloyd Stanley, 67 of Burbank, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 at Smithville-Western Care Center after a brief battle with cancer.
Tommy was born March 2, 1952 in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Jack and Mildred (Woods) Stanley and was raised in Bonanza, KY. He graduated from Norwayne High School and attended Akron University. Tommy honorably served in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 – 1974 having served in Turkey. He had worked as a manager at Taco Bell and for the past three years worked at Everything Rubbermaid. He enjoyed music, movies, playing cards and being with his family. He was a member of Creston Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his sisters, Linda and Phil Grier of Burbank and Linda and Larry Leavers of Wooster; nieces, Jamie and Amber and nephews, Shane and Brian and many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Services will be Monday, Oct. 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hackworth officiating. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 until time of services.
