Roger D. Hutchison

Roger D. Hutchison, 74, of Lakeville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare after a brief battle with cancer.

Roger was born May, 21, 1945 in Wayne County to the late Charles J. and Barbara Ellen (Snyder) Hutchison and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam having served in Germany and Vietnam.  Roger and retired in 2007 from Magna-Fab and was a member of American Legion Post 257 in Loudonville and was a life-member of VFW Post 8586 in Perrysville.  Roger enjoyed camping, fishing and riding his gator. 

Surviving are his sisters and brothers, Judy Evans of Orrville, Alan Hutchison of Shreve, Carol (Gary) Harrold of Wooster, Janet Kligerman of Wooster, Dale (Barbara) Hutchison of Holmesville, Carl “Louie” (Dorothy) Hutchison of Shreve and Carla (Jimmy) Jessie of Creston and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Andrea Lynn “Annie” Hutchison in 1998.

Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Lakefork United Methodist Church, 2115 County Road 175, Jeromesville with Pastor Layton Broome officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
