Ray M. Corp

Ray M. Corp, 83, of Seville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

Ray was born Nov. 26, 1935 in Weymouth in Medina County to the late Harold and Marian (Huffman) Corp and married the former Linda Sue Fulton on July 5, 1958.   He retired from Goldsmith & Eggleton  in Wadsworth and had made his home in Seville for the past 60 years.  Ray was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a member of the Thursday Euchre group at the Church.  He was an avid bowler, having bowled for over 60 years in Creston, Wadsworth and Lodi and loved History and reading the daily newspapers. 

Surviving are his wife, Linda; his daughter, Dawn Martin of Seville; son, Ryan Corp and Bridgette Thacker of Bath; 4 grandchildren, Jesse (Emily) Dollar, Danielle (Tyler Chrise) Dollar, Adrian (Cody) Webb and Adam (Lexi) Johnson; 5 great-grandchildren, Logan, Sophie, Callie, Ben and Lucy; brothers, Clayton Corp of Creston, Dean and Carol Corp of Creston, Wayne and Linda Corp of Rittman and Greg and Barb Corp of Creston; sister-in-law, Marilyn Corp of Rittman and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lee Corp and a sister-in-law, Janice Corp.

Services will be Saturday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9282 Acme Rd., Seville with Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.  Burial will be in Seville Mound Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston and one hour prior to services at the church.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorials may be made to the Jerusalem Lutheran Pre-School, 9282 Acme Rd., Seville, OH 44273.
