Paul Michael Hooser

Paul M. Hooser, 74, of Creston, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a courageous battle with cancer.

Paul was born May 20, 1945 in Lodi to the late Virgil and Martha Jane (Akers) Hooser and was a 1963 graduate of Norwayne High School.  He married the former Dianne Lipscomb on Jan. 21, 1971 and Dianne survives.  He retired from Parker Hannifin in Wadsworth where he had been a machinist and had made his home in Creston all of his life until moving near Shreve in 2018.  Paul was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Wooster and the Archeology Society of Ohio.  He enjoyed hunting, collecting arrow heads, attending car shows and trips to Amish Country.  He was an animal lover who loved his dogs and to feed the birds.  Paul will be greatly missed but is in the presence of his Lord and Savior.

Surviving are his wife, Dianne; sons, Chad of Shreve and Brad (Amy) Of Minerva; granddaughters, Avery and Carys and a brother Garland (Jan) Hooser of Rittman.

Services will be Friday, Nov. 15th at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home In Creston with Pastors Tom Geissinger and Ben Crouch officiating.  Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
