Levi J.D. Miller, 75, of 6715 Salt Creek Rd., Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital of heart related illness.
Levi was born July 22, 1944 in Wayne County to the late John D.C. and Katie (Wengerd) Miller and married Ada J. Yoder on Nov. 8, 1966. Ada survives. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 6 sons and 12 daughters, Anna, Marvin (special friend, Martha Troyer) Miller and Alma (Wayne) Miller all of the home, Ivan (Erma) Miller, Mattie (Nelson) Yoder, Barbara (Paul) Miller, Edna (Jonas) Yoder and Roman (Tessa) Miller all of Fredericksburg, Verba (Ivan) Burkholder of Apple Creek, Emma (Daniel Jr.) Miller of Sugarcreek, Fannie (Marvin) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Esther (Daniel) Miller of Dundee, John (Naomi) Miller, Nettie (Andy) Miller and Verna (Joseph) Raber all of Fredericksburg, Levi Jr. (Laura) Miller of Orrville, Nelson (Susie) Miller of Fredericksburg and Clara (Atlee) Troyer of Orrville; 83 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a brother, John J.D. Miller of Danville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Eli, Dan and Roy Miller and a sister, Mary Miller and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 10th at 9:30 a.m. at the family residence with Bishop Harry Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Hershberger Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Wayne County. Friends may call anytime at the family home. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
