Joan Hostettler Obituary

Joan N. Hostettler, 84, of Creston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

Joan was born Aug. 13, 1935 in Ashland to the late Felix and Nellie (Roach) Warner and married Richard R. Hostettler on May 15, 1954. Dick preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1999. Joan was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, Gary (Bonnie) Hostettler of Creston, Pam (Paul) Rausch of Seville, Kathy Rastorfer of Apple Creek and Richard R. Hostettler Jr. of Creston; grandson, Jason (Dawn) Hostettler and Mike (Marie) Hostettler; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Madelyn, Ethan and Brody and her sister, Judy (James) Sheehy of Huntsville, AL.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sister, Sandra Dixon and brothers, Darrell and Larry Warner.

At Joan’s request, there will be no service. Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
