Her best Saturday afternoons were those spent at The Shoe rooting on the OSU football team. Joan enjoyed traveling and going on bus trips with her friends and she loved playing games, working puzzles, and would teach and challenge anyone to a game of Skipbo.
Joan found great joy in opening up her home and pool to many people during the 47 years she lived on Christmas Run. Everyone loved her bright and contagious smile!
