James Jeffery Hannon

James Jeffery Hannon, 60, of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020 while at work after an apparent heart attack.

Jim was born June 28, 1959 in Jamestown, NY to David and Phyllis (Wagner) Hannon and was employed at Chemspec in Orrville.  He attended Crossroads Assembly of God in Creston and was a wonderful son and was always devoted to helping others. A faithful lawn and maintenance man for the elderly Jim also helped maintain the church property.   His late father was a Pastor and the family had lived in many places across the United States and Jim always enjoyed traveling and a good restaurant.

Surviving are his mother, Phyllis of Wooster; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas D. and Grace Hannon of Greenville, SC; 3 nieces and a nephew, Megan, Loren, Kennedy and Asher and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father on Dec. 10, 1999.

Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Crossroads Assembly of God, 10220 Wooster, Pike, Creston, OH with his uncle, Pastor Roger Larrison and Pastor Mike Boggs officiating.  Burial will be at Johnston Township Cemetery in Trumbull County on Monday, Jan. 13th at 1:30 p.m.  Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at the church on Saturday.
