Glenn Norton Kahl , 82, of Seville died Wednesday, Aug. 14,2019 at Hospice of Medina following a period of declining health.
Glenn was born in Wadsworth on July 18, 1937 to the late Earl and Rowene (Norton) Kahl and graduated from Leroy High School. He had served in the U.S. Army from 1955 – 1959 and married Anna Augustin on June 13, 1958. Anna survives. He retired from Halliburton with over 20 years of service and had made his home near Seville since 1963.
He had attended the Faith United Methodist Church in Burbank and was a member of the 555th Honor Detachment in Wayne County. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed golfing, gardening and hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; sons, Heinz (Russlyn) Kahl of Creston, Monte Kahl of Seville, Roy (Denise) Kahl of Sterling and Glenn Jr. (Candi) Kahl of Rittman, sister, Cindy (John) Shadley of West Salem and an army of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene and Monte.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug 21st, at 12 noon at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Jack Gessic officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
