Gary Mollohan Obituary

Gerritt C. “Gary” Mollohan, 66 of Wooster, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Gary was born Dec. 3, 1952 in Gassaway, WV to Coy “Bud” and Billie (Hickman) Mollohan and was a graduate of Cloverleaf High School.  He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam from 1972 – 1976 and worked at Rubbermaid in Wooster and later in Mogadore where he retired from.  Garry was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 8586 in Perrysville and was a member of the Cowboy Active Shooters Club of Ohio.  He was a handyman and could do mechanical work, woodworking or metal working.  He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his wife, Tammy (King) Mollohan who he married April 1, 2009; children, Chris (Christina) Mollohan, Buddy Mollohan, Marion David (Dawn) Hutchison and Sarah (Kevin) Mahoney; daughter-in-law, Crystal; 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; his mother, Billie Mollohan and a sister, Linda (Barney) Barnett.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa (Stevens) Mollohan in 2005; a son, James Mollohan in 2016, his father Bud Mollohan and an infant brother, Buddy.

Services and military honors will be held Wednesday, July 10th at 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.  Please meet at Murray Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. for the procession.  Friends are invited to join the family at Crossroads Assembly of God, 10220 Wooster Pike, Creston from 3-5 p.m.  following the services at Ohio Western Reserve.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
