On November 9, 2019 Dorothy Louise Salisbury knocked on heaven’s gate, and God welcomed her into his home. Dorothy was married to William Conley Stout and is survived by five children, Lisa Partin, Diani Smith, Anita stout, William Stout Jr., and Tina Nuzum, fourteen grandkids and 15 great-grandkids. Given as much love as she gave, she would want her family both near and far to celebrate her life now that she is standing beside Christ looking over them.
Dorothy was born Aug. 28, 1946 in Ward, WV to Austin and Wilma (Starcher) Salisbury. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 12, 1979 leaving her with five children to raise alone. She was a homemaker and had been a Mary Kay consultant. Dottie loved fashion and was always dressed to the max and her makeup was always perfect. She was a Diva who loved being the center of attention.
Surviving are her mother, Wilma Nevans of Lorain, OH; children, Tina (Ray) Nuzum of Orlando, FL, Billy (Darlene) Stout of Chester, SC, Anita Stout of Tampa, FL, Diani (Jeff) Smith of Baltimore, MD and Lisa (Greg) Partin of Riverview, MI; 14 grandchildren including Cody and Emmett Wilson whom she is now their angel and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sister, Donald Salisbury of Parkersburg, WV, Kathy Primozic, Ray Salisbury and Bonnie Davis all of North Ridgeville, OH and Rita Schering of Des Moines, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband and her father.
Services will be Saturday, Nov. 16th at 12:00 noon at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH 44217 where friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Wadsworth. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
