Christina Lynn “Crissy” Troyer, 48, of Creston passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 as a result of an accident. She and Steve were doing something that they loved, taking a ride on their Harley.
Crissy was born on Dec. 15, 1970 in Medina to Robert and Karen (Dawkins) Hughes and received her LPN degree from the Wayne County Schools Career Center in 2006. She married Steven Troyer on Aug. 12, 2006 and he survives. She had worked in the nursing field and enjoyed traveling, trips to Amish Country and listening to her friends perform in their bands. Her greatest joy was loving and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Steve; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Ashley Stowe of Ruskin, FL; daughter, Kassidy Stowe of Sterling; her 6 grandchildren, Kaydence, Kamden, Kolson, Keagan, Kennedi and Shaylee; her brother, Robert Hughes Jr. of Medina; her father of Tampa, FL and her in-laws, Janet and Glenn Hetrick and Family of Sterling. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Hughes in 2016.
Friends may call Sunday, May 5th from 2-5 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home where services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in Seville Mound Hill Cemetery.
