Barbara H. Wolck

Barbara H. Wolck, 90, of Wooster, died Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Brookdale Senior Residence in Wooster after a period of declining health.

She was born February 13, 1929 in Arlington Heights, IL to Clement and Helen (Courtney) Mors and married John G. Wolck on June 17, 1950.  He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1994. 

Barbara had been a resident of Wooster since 1984 and worked at Books in Stock for many of those years. In addition, she volunteered with various organizations. She delighted in her gardening, house, cats, jewelry, and ice cream.  Barbara was an avid reader and took great interest in traveling to exotic places and learning new things. Her many friends and relatives will miss her inquisitive and friendly spirit. Family was her great joy, and her 90th birthday party in June of this year was a delightful event full of far-flung well-wishers. In recent years she attended Central Christian Church.

Surviving are her three children, John G. Wolck Jr. (Nancy) of Pewaukee, WI; Kathleen Morisset (Douglas) of Donna, TX; Eileen Wolck of Glenmont, NY; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Reven of Chapel Hill, NC and Patricia Joseph of Laguna Woods, CA.

Friends may call  Friday, Aug. 23rd from 3-6 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where a time of remembrance will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of your choice, such as a local Animal Shelter or Doctors Without Borders.
