Atlee E. Mast

Atlee E. Mast, 81, of 6716 S. Honeytown Rd., Wooster, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital.

He was born Nov. 9, 1937 near Fredericksburg in Wayne County to Eli D. and Lovina (Hershberger) Mast and married Mattie J. Raber on April 7, 1959.  Mattie preceded him in death  on April 6, 2019.  He was a member of the Old Order Amish.

Surviving are his children, Fannie (Nelson) Miller of the home, Roy (Mary) Mast of Apple Creek, Eli (Esther) Mast of Millersburg, Clara (Owen) Wengerd of Wooster, Atlee Jr. (Edna) Mast of Fredericksburg, Dora (Jacob) Yoder of Millersburg, Alvin (Susan) Mast of Fredericksburg, Paul (Mattie) Mast of Holmesville, John (Nettie) Mast of Wooster, David (Katie) Mast and Effie (John Jr.) Miller both of Fredericksburg, Ervin (Amanda) Mast and Dannie (Verna) Mast both of Shreve, Andy (Barbara Kay) Mast of Holmesville and Esther Mast of the home; 114 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dan Mast of Apple Creek, Amanda (Melvin) Yoder of Mount Hope, Aden Mast of Fredericksburg, Emma (Eddie) Kline of Dalton, Katie (Eli) Troyer, Eli (Arie) Mast and Levi Mast all of Fredericksburg, Susie Troyer of Shreve,  Esther (Allen) Miller of Millersburg, Ada (Jonas) Stutzman of Fredericksburg, Lovina (Roy) Yoder of Mount Eaton and Ervin (Edna) Mast of Apple Creek.

He was preceded in death by his wife, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a sister, Clara Kuhns, and in-laws, Mary, Elizabeth and Clara Mast, Wayne Weaver and Dan Troyer.

Services will be Monday, June 10th at 9:00 a.m. at the Nelson Miller Residence 6640 S. Honeytown Rd., Wooster with Bishop Andy Hershberger officiating.  Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery, Buss Road, Apple Creek.  Friends may call any time at the Miller residence.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements. A special thanks is extended to the staff at Wooster Community Hospital for going the extra mile for the Mast family.
