Alberta A. Schulz, 92, of Creston, passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2019 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a brief illness.
Alberta was born June 8, 1927 in Salineville, OH to the late Albert and Mary (Sweeney) Stevens and married Erich E. Schulz on June 22, 1946. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1968. She had made her home in Parma Heights for over 50 years moving to Creston in 2001 and was a member of the Catholic Faith. Alberta was a wonderful cook and baker and enjoyed being with her family.
Surviving are her children, Kenneth A. (Teresa) Schulz of Medina, Karin A. Weir of Seville, Kathleen (Gary) Mullins of Wadsworth and Kevin Schulz of Creston; grandchildren; Kenny Schulz, Keely Schulz, Kyle (Soohee) Schulz, Chelsea (Ali) Baker-Alnawaiseh, Mackenzie (Rob) Gardner, Mackenna (Andrew) Shackley, Ethan Mullins and Erich Mullins; 6 great-grandchildren with one on the way and sisters, Shirley Stevens of Des Moines, IA and Joanne Fox of Solon, dear friend Anne Buckard, and many nieces and nephews
Alberta was preceded in death by baby daughter, Karleen Schulz, her parents and sisters, Mary Kobe, Kate Leishman and Theresa Vratney.
A celebration of Alberta’s life will be held Saturday, Aug. 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
