Obituary:

William D. " Willie" Plummer, 59, of Smithville died Saturday, April 24,2010 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Canaan Free Will  Baptist Church in Creston with Rev. James McComas officiating. Burial will be at Burbank Cemetery.  Friends may call Wednesday from  5-8 p.m.at Murray Funeral Home in Creston and Thursday from10:00 a.m.until time of services at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Canaan Township Fire Dept.
Willie was born November 9, 1950 to the late Leroy and Betty (Dull) Plummer.  He married Sandra Baker on January 28, 1972 and  she survives.  He had lived in Smithville for the past four years previously living in Burbank for many years. He was a member of the Canaan Free Will Baptist Church.  He had been a 17 year member of the Canaan Township Fire Dept.  He loved motorcycles, turkey shooting, deer hunting, and spending time with his family.
Surviving  are his wife Sandra,  children,  Billy and Renee Plummer of Lodi, and Sonya and Grant Wenger of Smithville;  Grandchildren,  Elizabeth, Shane, Emily, Elijah, and Grayson.
3 sisters, Velma Chandler of Nankin, Annabell &  Robert Combs of Indiana, and Sue and Ray Oiler of Doylestown; a Brother James Plummer of Doylestown.
He was preceded in death by grandson Ethan and Nephew James Oiler
