Obituary:
Wayne Mark Carmany, 51, of Marshallville, lost his 2 year battle with Melanoma Skin Cancer on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at his home.
Wayne was born Jan. 19, 1959 in Barberton the son of the late James and Mary (Williams) Carmany Sr. He married Vivian Svoboda on June 22, 1991 and she survives. He was a graduate of Manchester High School and served in the US Navy Submarine Division from 1977 - 1983. He was a engineer at Mascote from 1986 - 2000. He was a member of East Chippewa Church of the Brethren and enjoyed working outdoors gardening and landscaping.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Vivian, his 4 children Heather Carmany, Amanda Carmany, Anthony Carmany and Victoria Carmany; a brother James (Dee) Carmany Jr. of Barberton, 4 sisters; Lynda Yountz of Canal Fulton, Joyce (Larry) Armstrong of Powder Springs, GA, Cheryl (Gary) Marr of Marietta, GA and Brenda Carmany of Dallas, GA and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at East Chippewa Church of the Brethren, 7207 Chippewa Rd., Orrville with Rev. Dave Hall, Delbert Kettering and Leslie Lake officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to serivces on Monday.
