Obituary:
Velva A. "Tootie" Presock, 69, of Creston, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Hopsice of Medina at the Inn following a period of declining health.
She was born Aug. 25, 1941 in Webster Springs, W.VA. the daughter of Brud and Verda F. (Gregory) Lee and married Gary Presock on Feb. 14, 1992 and he survives. She retired from A.I. Root and had live in Creston for the past 18 years previously residing in Lodi and Media. She enjoyed trips to the ocean, doing crafts, canning and her cats.
Surviving are her husband Gary; 5 children, Todd Hosey, Tommy Hosey, Tamara Hosey and Kenny Chandler all of California and Terry Puro of Cleveland; several grandchildren; her mother Vertie Mason of West Virginia; brothers Wayne Lee and Marlis Mason both of Indiana; and sisters Elaine Carpenter of Creston, Melba Clay and Myra Blankenship both of West Virginia.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St. Creston, OH 44217. Inurnment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
