Obituary:
Steven E. Miller, 47, of 7107 Harrison Rd., Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010 as a result of a logging accident in Attica, Ohio.
Steve was born Jan. 12, 1963 in Millersburg, the son of the late Eli H. and Mattie W. (Yoder) Miller and he married Irene J. Hochstetler on Sept. 5, 1985 and she survives. He had operated S. Miller Excavating and was also in the logging business. He had made his home on Harrison Road for the past 21 years and was a member of the Amish Church.
Surviving are his wife Irene; three children, Lyle (Edna Mae) Miller of Kidron, Lori (friend Will Miller) of the home and Lynn Lamar of the home; a brother Paul E. Miller of Dundee; 5 sisters, Mary (Danny) Miller of Almena, Wisc., Edna Mae Miller of Dundee, Sara (Elmer) Troyer of Millersburg, Clara (Alfred) Schlabach of Dundee and Sue (Eli) Miller of Apple Creek; a sister-in-law Sarah Miller of Apple Creek and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Jonas and Sara Hochstetler of Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Roy, Larry and Wesley and a sisters Laura Miller and two infant sisters.
Services will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the residence, 7107 Harrison Rd., Fredericksburg with Bishop Abe E. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Troyer Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Friends may call anytime after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
