Ruby L. Richmond Fagert, 87, of Creston, died peacefully at her home on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011.

Ruby was born Nov. 20, 1923 in Fort Gay, W.Va. the daughter of Calvin and Cordie (Blevin) Damron and she married Emerson B. Richmond on Feb. 2, 1946. He died on March 12, 1976. On Aug. 20, 1977 she married Joseph W. Fagert and he preceded her in death on July 30, 1998. She had worked at Sara Lee Nursing Home in Wadsworth and was a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking and canning.

She will be greatly missed by her children Sharon T. Wilson and Diana K. Williams both of Creston and Harold E. (Judith) Richmond of Marion, IN; a step-daughter Clara Terry of Wooster; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters Wanda Pratt of Mt. Gilead, Norma Shrader of Bellville and Carol Lendon of Mansfield and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands; sisters Gladys Wilson, Delphia Damron and Margaret Parsons and Brothers Garland and Junior Parsons.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Tributes may be share at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
