Roy M. Nisley, 46, of 7076 S. Carr Rd., Apple Creek, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at his home from cancer.
He was born March 20, 1964 in Apple Creek the son of the late Mose and Susie (Yoder) Nisley. He married Sarah Shetler on May 16, 1985 and she survives. He was a member of the Amish Church.
Surviving are his wife Sarah; 9 children, Daniel Nisley of the home, Eli (LeAnna) Nisley of Apple Creek, Andrew (special friend Angie Hostetler) Nisley, Laura Nisley, Paul Nisley, Roy Nisley Jr., David Nisley, Duane Nisley and Joas Nisley all of the home; 5 brothers Jonas (Susie) Nisley of Loudonville, Abner (Barbara) Nisley, Mose (Fannie) Nisley, Eli (Linda) Nisleyand William Nisley all of Fredericksburg and 3 sisters Barbara Nisley, Elizabeth (William) Schmucker and Katie Nisley all of Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Nisley on June 30, 2009, his parents, a brother and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the residence with Enos C. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Troyer Cemetery, Apple Creek. Friends may call anytime at the residence on Wednesday and Thursday. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangement.
