So sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. I had the priviledge of meeting Ron when my daughter moved into the apt. above him in Rittman. Like any parent of a daughter, there was always concern about a young girl living on her own. Especially 30 minutes away. However, Erica and Ron became quick friends and our apphrehension was quickly eased. Ron was such a big help to Erica - they watched each others animals, he installed air conditioners for her. She could always count on him if she needed something done. They would check in with each other when there were disturbances in the neighborhood. Having Ron there truly eased my mind as a parent. When Erica decided to move closer to home, she acknowledged it was going to be hard not to have Ron nearby. He had jokingly agreed that when he came into Medina he would check in with her to see if she had any jobs for him. I know they stayed in contact regularly. My heart hurts that he is gone way too early in his life. However, I hope it provides some solice that he truly made a difference in Erica's and her family's life. I know her memories of him will last forever.
