Ronald L. Clevidence, 76, of Burbank, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 in the comfort of his new home in Canton after a fight against heart disease.
He was born Wadsworth on Sept. 16, 1941 to Joe and Wilda Oneacre Clevidence and was a hard worker and a man with a variety of hobbies. He served in the U.S. Army, had word at Ford Motor Co. and was a man that always took care of his family. He was a provider. In Ronald’s early years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and communicating with people on his ham radio. Later in life he enjoyed making bullets and target practicing. He had a passion for photography, loved taking pictures of nature and his grandchildren and enjoyed a good game of cards and playing chess.
Surviving are his daughter, Jodi Moncrease, son, Todd (Gail) Clevidence; grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Jasmine Price, Dylan Clevidence and Emily Clevidence; 3 great-grandchildren, brother, Dennis (Maggie) Clevidence and sister Becky (Roy) McPike. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Shoulter Clevidence on Oct. 5, 2016; his parents and a sister Darlene Kay Cooper.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Oct. 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Southview Cemetery in Sullivan. There will be no calling hours. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
