Obituary:
Robert E. "Bobby" King, 58, of Creston, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at his home following a sudden illness.
Bobby was born November 28,1951 in Wooster the son of the late Arthur B. and Mary (Franks) Ortt. He was later adopted by Charles King. He was a graduate of Norwayne High School and had lived most of his life in the Creston area . He had worked for General Telephone in Medina and various truck stops in Florida and Texas. He was also a handyman. He was a member of the Creston Moose Lodge 1224 and the Canaan sportsman Club. He had been a coach for the boy's little league and the girl's softball teams. He loved hunting,bowling, golfing, and playing softball.
Surviving are a daughter, Holly King of Creston, grandchildren, Jadyn, Roper, and Mikalah, a brother, Frosty and Carol King of Creston, a step-brother, Chester King of Cleveland. many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Arthur Ortt, and a step-sister Anna Jane Sidwell
Services will be Saturday at 12:00 Noon at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Tributes may be shared at www. Murray-Funeral-Home.com.
