Raymond A. Hochstetler, 69, of 3920 Graber Rd., Fredericksburg, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Wooster Community Hospital following an apparent heart attach.
Services will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Hochstetler residence with Bishop Willis R. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Graber Road Cemetery. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Raymond was born Sept. 16, 1940 in Mt. Eaton the son of the late Atlee and Emma (Yoder) Hochstetler. He married Katie Ann Detweiler on Oct. 29, 1963 and she survives. He operated an upholstery shop, Graber Road Sales at his home for 30 years. He was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 7 children, Ada Mae (Vernon) Miller of Fredericksburg, Sara Ann (Artie) Wagler of Loogootee, IN, Leroy (Susan) Hochstetler of the home, Wes (Kara) Hochstetler of Fredericksburg, Anna (Duane) Hochstetler of Millersburg, Katie (Ray) Miller of Apple Creek and Daniel (Lorene) Hochstetler of Fredericksburg; 33 grandchildren, 4 brothers, Eli Hochstetler of Holmesville, Dan (Ruby) Hochstetler of Fredericksburg, Emanuel (Nettie) Hochstetler of Holmesville and Roy (Amanda) Hochstetler of Mt. Eaton; 4 sisters, Anna (Crist) Kuntz of Millersburg, Mary (Lester) Miller of Millersburg, Betty (Al) Wengerd of Fredericksburg and Ida (Will) Detweiler of Fredericksburg; 2 step-brothers and 2 step-sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father John Troyer and 2 step-sisters
