Paul L. Ennis, Sr., 78, of Wooster died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the home of his son in Wooster.

Friends may call Saturday from 4-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where services will be held at 7:00 p.m.   Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne Co., 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691. 

Paul was born June 15, 1931 in Nicholson, PA the son of the late Glenn and Angeline (Snyder) Ennis.  He married Janice L. Johnson on Aug. 28, 1985.  She died Aug. 16, 2009 and they are together again.  He was a 1949 graduate of Nicholson High School where he lettered in basketball and retired from International Paper in Wooster following 43 years of service.  He was a member of Creston Moose Lodge, Wadsworth Eagles and the International Paper Retirees.   He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, traveling and play cards. 

Surviving are his children Lela Mae Miller of Philippi, WV, Paul (Gloria) Ennis Jr. of Wooster, Glenn Ennis of Wooster, Kevin (Robin) McCune of Wooster, Jeff Looney of Wooster, Lee Ann Poth of Jeromesville and Darrell Miller of Wooster; 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Mildred Feiber of Jeromesville.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jan, 2 great-granddaughters, 2 brothers George and Gene and a sister Elizabeth Geasman.
