Paul was a good friend since elementary school.  It seems like only yesterday that our little "gang" was roaming the countryside, fishing, and creating life-long memories.  I am deeply saddened by his passing, but feel so very fortunate to have had Paul as a friend.

Sincerely,
Mel Christian

I moved into an old farmhouse in Sterling in November of 1996. I knew no-one in the area at all. When I ran into a problem in January of 1997 I was told that Mr. Obermiller might be able to assist me. When I talked to Paul on the phone and explained my dilemma the first thing he said was "the Good Lord put us on the face of the Earth to help each other". I never forgot that and it came from a total stranger who knew me not at all. His only concern was to do his best to help a person in need.
