Doris Curtis Obituary

Doris Mae Curtis, 80, of Medina, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

Doris was born on May 23, 1943 in Billings, Montana to Dow and Lena (Crosier) George.  She had worked in the Deli at Super K-Mart in Medina where she had had made her home.  Doris loved being on the go, nature and animals, especially her cats.  She enjoyed collecting bells and being with her family and her grandbabies.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Holcomb of Orrville, Herbie Holcomb of Medina, Warren Holcomb of Cleveland and Tonyia Sisson of Wellington; grandchildren, Timmy, Danny, Shannon, Kim, Taylor, Hailey, Zachariah and Kimberly; several great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Shirley Morris of Seville, Donnie George of River Styx, Charles (Martha) George of West Salem, Michael (Kim) George of Medina, Pam Rumovitz of Dalton and Carolyn (Mark) Phillips of Mansfield; brother-in-law, Ralph Simms of Creston and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by infant son, Richard Holcomb, son, Timmy Ray Holcomb, grandson, Jason; brothers, Ronnie, Kenneth and Randy George and sister, Patsy Simms.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 14th from 6-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  Burial will be at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery at a later date.
