Nancy Lou Stevens-Pritt, 59, of Doylestown, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Akron City Hospital following a brief illness.
Nancy was born July 1, 1956 at the Langley Air Force Base in Virginia to Gilmer L. and Reba E. (Pritt) Stevens and was a 1975 graduate of Rittman High School. She had worked at Airborn Electronics in Akron for 17 years and had made her home in the Rittman/Doylestown area most of her life. She enjoyed reading, keeping up with family and friends on Facebook, playing computer games, crocheting and country music. Her greatest love was being with her family and she was a true cat lover.
Surviving are her nephew and nieces, Terry and his wife Beth Rood of West Salem, Tammy Ferris of Jeromesville and Tracy Lauer and her fiancée Jeff Hamisfar of Norwalk; great-nieces and nephews, Kelley Ferris, Jessica (Brandon) Shaw, Alyssa Bosarge, and Justin, Joshua, Renee and Nikole Rood; great-great-niece, Kaige Plotz, great-great-nephews, Silas and Mason Plotz and Ryker Shaw and her beloved cat, Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and George Rood.
Services will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Darrel Griffith officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 until services at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
