Michael Eugene Lemon, 40, of Rittman, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Akron City Hospital following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Michael was born Feb. 16, 1971 in Wooster the son of Robert and Pamela (Robertson) Lemon. He had made his home in the Rittman area most of his life and enjoyed attending car shows, collecting novelty knives and music. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his father Robert (Tina) Lemon of Marshallville; brothers and sister Jamie Lemon of Marshallville, Kassy (Rodney) Gibson of Rittman and Adam (Natalie) Lemon of Rittman and nieces and nephews, Jenise, Landon, Tyler, Tarence, Destiney and Gavin.  He was preceded in death by his mother Pamela Lemon on May 11, 2008.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Bradley Dews officiating. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
