Obituary:
Michael Wayne Cagle, 58, of Medina, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic following a sudden illness.
Mike was born Jan. 15, 1953 in Buckhannon, W.Va. and was the son of Gail Cogar and Ireda Cool Dunkley. He married Julie Williams on May 5, 1973 and she survives. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam from March 17, 1970 - Sept. 21, 1971. He was employed at General Motors for the past 34 years and had made his home in Medina spending 20 years in Norman, OK. He was a member of United Auto Workers and the Medina Eagles Lodge. He attended Creston United Methodist Church and he loved the Lord and lived and shared that love. He enjoyed building and fixing things, woodworking and helping others. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Julie; daughters Jennifer (Scott) Bloodworth of Purcell, OK and Elizabeth Cagle of Stafford, VA; 5 grandchildren, Bryon and Abbigail Huddleston, Carly Weingardt, Maggie Lennan and Caleb Bloodworth; his father and step-mother Gail and Sue Cogar of Grafton; his mother Ireda Dunkley of Richmond, VA; brothers and sisters, James (Theresa) Cogar of Copley, Kevin (Janette) Cogar of Berlin Heights, Scott (Diane) Cogar of LaGrange, Melinda Cagle of Richmond, VA, Charles Cagle of San Diego, Kevin (Carol) Dunkley of Richmond, VA; Brenda (Clay) Cook of Prince George, VA, Cassie (Greg) Burke of Chesterfield, VA and Danny Dunkley of Richmond, VA. Brothers Virgil and David Dunkley died previously.
Memorial Services will be Wednesday at 12:00 noon at Creston United Methodist Church, 166 S. Main St., Creston, OH with Pastor Deborah Quillen officiating. Friend will be received from 11:00 until time of services. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com Mike was an organ donor and gave his body to help others.
