Obituary:
Mary Ann Mast, 71, of 5306 Moreland Rd., Fredericksburg, died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 14, 2010 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born April 23, 1939 in Stark Co., the daughter of the late David J.C. and Malinda (Troyer) Yoder. She married Aden E. Mast on Sept. 17, 1959 and he survives. She was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 4 sons, Andy (Carolyn) Mast and Allen (Edna) Mast of Millersburg, Raymond (Viola) Mast of Orrville and Vernon (Miriam) Mast of the home; 2 daughters, Edna (Nelson) Miller of Fredericksburg and Katie (Andy) Hershberger of Apple Creek; a son-in-law Jonas (Anna) Yoder of Fredericksburg, 40 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters Amanda (Eli) Miller, Emma Yoder and Edna Yoder all of Fredericksburg, Anna (Don) Billheimer of Wooster and Katie (John) Detweiler of Apple Creek; 4 brothers Eli (Ada Marie) Yoder, Joe (Lydia Ann) Yoder, Atlee (Mozell) Yoder all of Fredericksburg and David (Elsie) Yoder Jr. of Sugarcreek; a sister-in-law Mattie Wengerd of Winesburg and a brother-in-law Jacob Schlabach of Millersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Verba Yoder; a granddaughter Frieda Yoder; a sister Lovina Schlabach; brothers Andy D. Yoder and Raymond Wengerd and a brother-in-law Raymond Yoder.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Atlee Mast Jr. residence, 5121 Moreland Rd., Fredericksburg, with Bishop Freeman R. Troyer officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery on Buss Road. Friends may call anytime at the Atlee Mast Jr. residence. Arrangements are being handled by Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
