Martha L. (Gingerich) Yoder, 74, of 3636 Evans Rd., Fredericksburg, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 31, 2017 at her residence after a brief illness.
Martha was born Sept. 18, 1943 in Wayne County to Levi E. and Mary J. (Byler) Gingerich and married Samuel J. Yoder on March 28, 1963. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 1990. She was a member of the New Order Amish Church.
Surviving are her children, Clara (Reuben) Miller of Fredericksburg, Mary (Daniel) Gingerich and Edward Yoder both of Wooster, Miriam (Fred) Gingerich of Stover, MO, Wilma (Toby) Gingerich of Tiverton, Steven (Emma) Yoder of Guthrie, KY and Dena (Andy Ray) Miller of Millersburg; 35 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jacob (Ada) Gingerich of Killbuck, Eli (Amanda) Gingerich of Fredericksburg and William (Anna Jean) Gingerich of Apple Creek; sisters, Katie Miller of Fredericksburg, Melinda Miller of Holmesville and Miriam (John) Shetler of Fredericksburg and a sister-in-law, Edna Gingerich of Holmesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, step-mother, Annie C. Gingerich; brother, Henry Gingerich and brothers-in-law, Eli D. Miller and Eli H. Miller.
Services will be Thursday, Nov. 2nd at 9:00 a.m. at the Jacob Shetler residence, 4090 Harrison Rd., Fredericksburg with Bishop Joe Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery, Prairie Township, Holmes Co. Friends may call anytime at the Shetler residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
