We want to extend out deepest sympathy to the family. Aunt Martha was an amazing person. I loved talking to her on the phone and visiting her at home. She was a special person. She shared a great bond with Maggie, my granddaughter. Things will never be the same without her. Love you Aunt Marty. We will miss you but know your in a better place.

Name: Bethany Holiday

My Grandma "Doc" was a very wonderful, special, sweet, caring, amazing, beautiful, strong woman.Somehow,no matter where I was in this world,if I'd had a bad day or got myself into mischief that I shouldn't have,or just needed a hug from grandma to make it all better,She definitely could! And with so few words!,it was remarkable.... She worked hard for what little she and my grandpa Luke had,she raised 8 kids, treating all of them the same. Never missing a minute of their trials and tribulations... Boy I can't imagine can you?  I can't imagine the pain she's went thru, In 1993 she lost my grandpa, but still managed (with help) to keep things going... 5 years ago she lost My father,Russell Lee Holiday... At 54 years old...
I truly believe that god saw her getting tired, from being the glue that held our family together for so long-- that he knew she couldn't handle the pain and sorrow or losing a child... She went into a downward spiral with her Alzheimer's..... She got to where she couldn't remember a lot, couldn't walk very good, or do a lot of things on her own that she normally would...I'm so fortunate that I could help sit with her while I was in Ohio living... It was truly a blessing....
We always had our front porch talks... I don't believe she was cursed or punished... I believe that,at the time that was the best possible solution from God to help mend her broken heart. From the both of their passing...

Now she's gained her angel wings, and I know that without a doubt.... See,its not just what can others do for me,but what can I do for them to help out in a terrible situation???!, that's what got her ticket to heaven ladies and gentlemen...
Her kindness,generosity,and unconditional love.
May She Rest In Peace,
And fly with the angels.
Give Daddy a big hug and kiss for me,tell him I love him and miss him so Grandma.
I Love You So Much, and Miss You So Much Already...
RIP
Gone but Never forgotten
