Until recently I'd not seen luther for many of years, since he moved near I visited him nearly every day, together we'd watch a ball game, maybe just sit and talk, when he was up to it I'd get him out for ride, our last trip out was to a large store, once inside I seen a wheelchair, I said here Lu, get in, he chuckled with that side ways nod to say no,I knew his pride wasn't going to allow for it, I didn't give in, I got the chair and told him, get in bud its ok, he did. It was a honor to help my friend.I miss him , the  ritual of checking on him each day has been taken away, I try to find peace for myself knowing he's suffering no more, but its hard, I suppose that is selfish, for that I'm sorry... I hope the best for his loved ones, cherish the good memories, May God be with you
