Kirk Allan Carpenter
March 24, 1960 - August 30, 2018
On the evening of August 30th, Kirk Allan Carpenter lost a hard fought battle and made his way to Heaven. In his last moments, he was surrounded by his closest family, who prayed that he finally found peace. Kirk was born on March 24th, 1960 to Mary and Rommie Carpenter Sr. He grew up in Doylestown and graduated from Chippewa High School where he played football and was a decorated track star. To the competing schools he was known as the one and only ‘White Lightning’. Later on, Kirk married the love of his life Rhonda Dean when he was 24, and they shared 34 years or marriage and unwavering love. His entire life, Kirk was such a hard worker, doing backbreaking work with construction companies such as Great Lakes Co. He was enthusiastic about deer hunting with his brothers, watching NASCAR every Sunday to cheer on Earnhardt Sr. and Jr, and gardening with his wife during the summer and fall months, all the while listening to his favorite classic rock stations. He most loved the sunflowers, dahlias and his precious morning glory's. He planted every year, as he thought those were the most beautiful. He was preceded in death by his father Rommie Carpenter Sr, mother, Mary Smith, and step mother Alice Carpenter. He leaves behind a beloved wife, Rhonda who never left his side, two beautiful daughters, Angela and Anna, and we can't forget his princess puppy, BelleBelle and his furry pup grandson, Gambit. Also, his parents-in-law, Robert and Lucy Dean, who loved him as their own. He also leaves behind brothers, Rommie Carpenter Jr. & long time girlfriend Amy Topper, David Carpenter, and Jesse Horsley and wife Joy. Also, sisters, Connie Woll and husband Rick, Penny Booth and husband Tim , Missy Carpenter, Robbie Paridon and husband Pete and Tammy-Jo Hansen and husband Randy. He's also left behind many cousins, niece's, and nephews. He will always love you all. At a later date we will lay him to rest at the Creston Maple Mound Cemetery next to his beloved brother-in-law Bobby Dean.
