Judith Gail McClain, 77, of Creston, died peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2019 at The Avenue at Wooster after a lengthy illness.

Judy was born in Clay County, WV on Dec. 8, 1941 to the late Sherman E. and Myrtle Ivy (Bird) Truman.  She married Dale McClain on Aug. 20, 1960 and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2017.  She had worked at Permold and later had cleaned at Westfield Companies, Coffey Insurance, Stebbins Bank and at the 76 Truck Stop.  Judy enjoyed bowling, fishing, quilting and gardening over the years and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Harvey of Rittman; grandchildren, Marsha Ridgeway, Amber McClain, Joyce Keltz, Michael McClain, Brad Keltz, James McClain and Mike McClain; 9 great-grandchildren and sisters and brothers, Wanda Sanders, Dencil Truman, Carol Fisher, Barbara Lloyd, Marsha Beckett, Joe Truman, Delmas Truman, Allen Truman and Connie Engle all of West Virginia and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Michael McClain and a brother, Eddie Truman.

Service will be Saturday, March 16that 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Saturday.  Memorial contributions may be made in care of Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH 44217 for final expenses.  The family extends their deepest appreciation to the staff of The Avenue at Wooster and to Davita Wooster Dialysis for the wonderful care given to Judy.
