Obituary:
Jonathan E. Brown, 47, of Creston, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Winter Haven, FL following a sudden illness.
Jon was born Aug. 23, 1964 in Medina the son of Harry and Ann (Barrett) Brown and he married Susan Seiberling in 1989 and she survives. He was a 1983 graduate of Cloverleaf High School and was a truck driver for Turn-To Transport in Cleveland. He had previously driven truck as a independent mover. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Westfield County Club.
Surviving are his wife, Susan, a son Joshua Brown of Creston; 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Barb (Tom) Lowery of Sunriver, OR, Terry (Sandy) Brown of Georgetown, TX, Dawn (Steve) Daniel of Kennesaw, GA, Harry Brown of Winter Park, FL and Lila Brown of Portland, OR and nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Creston United Methodist Church with Pastor Deb Quillen officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Tributes may be shared at
