Jean C. Kime, 60,of Sterling, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at her home following a sudden illness.

Jean was born Aug. 9, 1949 in Elmhurst, IL the daughter of the late Leo and Loretta (Nick) Reilly.  On Jan. 24, 1970 she married Thomas "Jack" Kime who preceded her in death on March 26, 2001.   Jean was a graduate of Willow Brook High School in Villa Park, IL and had worked at American Greetings and a Bradley's in Sterling.  For the past 18 years she had worked at Norwayne Local Schools working in the Lunchroom.  She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Rittman.  She had made her home near Sterling since 1976 where she enjoyed working in her flower gardens, having cookouts with family and friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren who were the loves of her life. 

She will be greatly missed by her children, Christine (Christopher) Molnar of Doylestown, Mary Jo (Frank Jr.) Yost of Rittman and Charles "CJ" Kime of Sterling; her four grandchildren, Tristan Molnar, Andrew and Emily Yost and Katelyn Kime; a sister Kathleen Luttrell, a brother John Reilly and a niece Jennifer Luttrell all of Lombard, IL.   She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a daughter Carolyn.

Services will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Sister Joan Rader officaiting.  Interment will be later at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made for her grandchildren in care of the funeral home.
