Evelyn LaVonne Myers, 85, of Wooster, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 surround by her family following a period of declining health.

Evelyn was born June 29, 1925 in Creston the daughter of the late Willard Z. and Marcella (Davis) Reese.  She was a 1944 graduate of Creston High School and had worked fro 32 years at Rubbermaid Inc. retiring in 1988.  Following retirement, she joined the Wilderness Center Bird Club and became an avid bird watcher and traveled to different Countries around the World to bird watch.  She loved gardening, being outdoors, hunting,  golfing,  mushroom hunting and bowling.  She loved nature and the all its beauty.

Surviving are her six children, Gary (Susan) Myers of Killbuck, Dennis (Sherlyn) Myers of Wooster, Rick Myers of Wooster, Kathy Bucklew of Wooster, Jennie (Mike) Raymond of Apple Creek and Harold (Vicki) Myers of Wooster; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother Wayne Reese and sister Lois Kohler and Dorothy Copley.
