Obituary:

Edith Marie "Peggy" Kohler, 74, of Burbank, passed away Feb. 11, 2011 at Akron City Hospital following a sudden illness.
Peggy was born Feb. 9, 1937 in Barberton the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith (Smith) Repp.  She graduated from Copley High School in 1955  and she married Robert Kohler on Oct. 13, 1956 at Barberton First Methodist Church.  She worked for 23 years in the Postal Service and retired in 2002 from Sharon Center Post Office as Postmaster.  She was a member of Overton Community Church where she sang in the choir and served on the church council.  She was past Vice President of the Ohio League of Postmasters and was a member of Sharon Center Historical Society.  She was active in the Wayne-Holmes Right to Life and enjoyed walking and spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
She will be greatly missed by her husband; her 4 children, Valerie (Bob) Kelley of Burbank, Rob (Sue) Kohler of West Salem, Chad (Natalie) Kohler of Virginia Beach, VA and Carrie (Nick) Franks of Shreve; her nine grandchildren, Derek, Christopher, Jessica, Kristy, Matt, Braiden, Hayley, Silas and Ciera and her 3 great-grandchildren, Noah, Kimberly and Gavin;  she is also survives by 4 sisters, Betty (Frank) Spetich and Bonnie (Jim) Arnold of Barberton, Cynthia (Lucky) Williams of Gaylord, MI and Goldie (Bob) Wagner of Murray, KY and a brother Larry (Betty Joe) Repp of Murray, KY. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Constance King and a brother Eremal Repp.
Services will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Revs. Melvin Browning and Allan Aubrey officiating.  Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorials may be made to the Wayne-Holmes Right to Life, PO Box  1231, Wooster, OH 44691.
