Obituary:
Donna Kay Hatfield, 55, of Wooster went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the home of her daughter under the care of Hospice of Wayne County.
Donna was born March 16, 1955 in West Hamlin, W.Va. the daughter of the late Rev. Jeff and Dolores (Guthrie) Hatfield. She grew up in the Medina area and worked at the Wayne County Care Center for a number of years. She was a member of Good News Baptist Church in Smithville and had enjoyed doing flower arrangements.
She loved her children, family and friends and will be greatly missed by her son Anthony (Jackie) Lovejoy of Wooster and her daughter Angela (James) Kestner of Wooster; grandchildren Tyler Lovejoy, Kaley Hudson, Xavier Kestner and Gavin Lovejoy; sisters Linda Hopkins of Seville and Phyllis (Mike) Connors of Pickens, SC; nephews, Michael (Mindy) Tecco, Jeffrey (Karisa) Tecco, Jay (Karen) Mooney and Nelson (Alisha) Mooney and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Lineul Lovejoy Jr., brother Sgt. Jack Hatfield a brother-in-law Timothy Hopkins and grandparents, Oat and Bertha Hatfield and Harrison and Zola Guthrie.
Services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Larry Rickey of Good News Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at Green Valley Cemetery in Branchland, (Cabell County) W.Va. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Murray Funeral Home, 173 S.
