Obituary:

Dollie M. Winkler, 77, of Creston, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

Dollie was born Oct. 27, 1939 in Akron to Harry and Dollie (Ball) Dollar and operated Dollie’s Pizza Shop in Seville and had worked with husband at Winkler Tire in Sterling.  Dollie had made her home in Sterling prior to moving to Creston and was a member of the Creston Moose Lodge 1224 and the National Riffle Assoc. Dollie was a dog rescuer who always loved her dogs and who enjoyed spending time at the family farm in Southern Ohio.  She will be sadly missed.

Surviving are her husband, James A. Winkler whom she married on Dec. 30, 1987; daughters, Cynthia and Andrew Kason of Chippewa Lake and Sherrie Ratliff and John Carano of Massillon; step-daughter, Audrey and Bob Kaftan of Seattle, WA and step-son, Rod and Carol Winkler of Wadsworth and 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Cliff Dollar.
