Delbert E. Gasser, 83, of Pepperwood Dr., Wooster, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Glendora Care Center, following a short illness.
He was born in Hannibal, Monroe County the son of the late Everett and Selma (Schnell) Gasser and was a 1945 graduate of Creston High School.  He had made his home and had worked on the family farm near Hermanville for over 50 years and had been a milk hauler for many area farmers.  He had made his home in Wooster for the past 16 years. He was an active member of Widow, Widowers and Friends and enjoyed taking bus trips with the Senior Citizens. Delbert loved making wine, bowling on many  bowling leagues and playing cards and dominos. He had been a member of a mens breakfast group.
He is survived by sisters: Elda Imhoff and Janice (Joe) Ritchey both of Wooster; nieces and nephews, Larry (Peg) Imhoff, of Wooster, Cheryl (Ray) McConahay of Wooster, Roger Imhoff, of Dover, Jennifer (Brian) Stichter of Warsaw, IN, Judy (Jon) Ressler of Wooster and Joyce (Kevin) Keener of Creston and many  great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Gary, and brother-in-law Gene Imhoff.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 6th, 10:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home, Creston, with John Murray officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, Ohio.
