Christopher A. “Chris” Dulworth, 53, of Creston, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2011 at his home following a brief illness.

He was born Aug. 23, 1957 in Wadsworth and was the son of Eva L. (Deel) and R. Bruce Clevidence. He married Tanya “Tammy” Maddox on February 4, 1978 and she survives.

He was a graduate of Wadsworth High School in 1975 and had made Creston his home for the past 25 years. He worked at North American Roto Engravers for 23 years and at Shriner Sheet Metal for the past 12 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dogs, Scooter and Sayde. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Surviving are his wife Tammy, his mother Eva Clevidence of Wadsworth, daughters Brandi Dulworth of Creston and Stacey (Aaron) Veon of Wooster; grandchildren, Jason and Emily Veon and a sister Lori (Bill) Lewis of Canal Fulton.

He was preceded in death by his father R. Bruce Clevidence and a sister Lynne Speaks.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Nancy Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH 44217.
